Kegelisahan para penumpang berhubung isu makanan yang tercemar dalam penerbangan Air Asia telah mendapat reaksi segera daripada syarikat penerbangan tambang murah itu. Tambahan isu tersebut telah viral dan mendapat perhatian di seluruh dunia.
Apa pun, kebertanggungjawaban pengurusan syarikat itu patut dipuji dalam menangani isu tersebut. Ini termasuklah pihak pengurusan yang telah menghantar mesej kepada admin bagi memperjelaskan keadaan sebenar.

AirAsia is aware of the reports on the alleged foreign object found in our inflight meal by one of our guests. We are in communication with the guest to establish the facts surrounding the matter.
We regret the guest did not hand over the item immediately which would have enabled us to quickly establish the cause or the source of the alleged contamination.
We nevertheless are treating the matter seriously and have started an investigation into this complaint to ascertain the facts and to rule out any foul play.
As to the allegation of food poisoning, we would assist the guest with his medical expenses and we are still awaiting the guest's medical reports and bills.
Our caterer is certified ISO 22000:2005 by SGS United Kingdom, HALAL by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia, MeSTI by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia and Gred A, Premis Bersih by Majlis Daerah Kuala Selangor.
AirAsia conducts regular surveillance and quality audits of its suppliers. On board fumigation and disinfect are conducted on regular basis. Whilst this is an isolated event, we take this report seriously and have increased our supervision accordingly.

Iyelah, kadang-kadang benda dah nak berlaku ni akan berlaku juga walau pelbagai prosedur kawalan telah diambil. Dan berdasarkan kenyataan yang diberikan ini, pihak Air Asia juga bersedia menanggung sebarang kos perubatan penumpang tersebut sekiranya berlaku keracunan makanan.
